The first virtual session of the Virtual Cultural Exchange course successfully brought together students from STLCC and IUCA, fostering cross-cultural communication and enhancing English language skills. Led by Professor Daniel Yezbick and Senior Lecturer Leila Serikova, the session set a strong foundation for future collaboration and meaningful discussions.

This collaborative program is made possible in part by the support of the Inner Asian and Uralic National Resource Center (IAUNRC) at Indiana University, which plays a key role in promoting cross-cultural educational initiatives.

Chinese Language students created an immersive journey into Eastern traditions

Polina Kozhanova, a third-year student from Russia, spent a semester at the International University of Central Asia as part of an exchange program in the English Linguistics department. Polina highlighted the high quality of education, the chance to practice English with native speakers, and the warm hospitality that made her stay in Kyrgyzstan truly unforgettable.
