IUCA Provost Meets with Master's Students of "Pedagogy in Times of Change" Program
Kamila Sharshekeeva shared her experience and thanked Jaratmans for their contribution to education transformation

On March 20, 2025, a meeting took place at the International University of Central Asia between university Provost Kamila Sharshekeeva and students of the master's program "Pedagogical Activity in Times of Change," implemented in partnership with the Teach for Kyrgyzstan project. The meeting provided Jaratmans with an opportunity to hear reflections from one of Kyrgyzstan's leading educators on the role of teachers in contemporary society and discuss challenges they face in their daily practice.

Kamila Duishebayevna shared her rich professional experience, emphasizing the fundamental significance of teachers in every person's life. She noted that educators possess a unique ability to change not only individual destinies but to transform entire communities through education. The Provost expressed deep gratitude to program participants for their work, resilience in facing the challenges of working in rural schools, and their sincere desire to make a real contribution to the country's future.

This meeting holds special significance for the program's history, as Kamila Duishebayevna became a key supporter of the Teach for Kyrgyzstan initiative at a time when many expressed skepticism about the possibility of its implementation. Thanks to her belief in the program's potential and resolute support, this unique master's program successfully operates today at IUCA, preparing a new generation of pedagogical leaders for Kyrgyzstan's regions.

The "Zamanbap Mugalim" program represents something more than traditional academic preparation. It is an opportunity for determined, ambitious, and committed young people to become agents of real change in the country's educational system. Over two years, program participants combine graduate studies with teaching work in schools across regions and villages where there is a particularly acute need for contemporary and inspiring educators capable of applying innovative approaches and motivating students toward development. https://www.instagram.com/p/DHku81xz-kN/
