Building Bridges Across Cultures: Final Meeting of the Virtual Cultural Exchange Course

The third and final synchronous meeting between IUCA and STLCC students brought a warm and meaningful conclusion to the Spring 2025 Virtual Cultural Exchange course, celebrating cultural understanding, teamwork, and new international friendships.

Exploring Cultures Through Stories and Places: the Second Virtual Session of the Virtual Cultural Exchange

The second virtual session of the Virtual Cultural Exchange between STLCC and IUCA took place on February 27, 2025, further strengthening cross-cultural dialogue and academic collaboration. The session featured a virtual tour of STLCC’s campus, a presentation on St. Louis and Missouri, and an interactive quiz on local culture. A highlight of the event was IUCA student Akynov Adil’s recitation of the Manas epic, which introduced STLCC students to Kyrgyz oral traditions and sparked discussions on folklore and cultural heritage.
