The third and final synchronous meeting between IUCA and STLCC students brought a warm and meaningful conclusion to the Spring 2025 Virtual Cultural Exchange course, celebrating cultural understanding, teamwork, and new international friendships.

On April 19, 2025, the International University of Central Asia held the annual speech contest "Speak to Inspire: The Battle of Words" to mark World Speech Day. The event brought together talented high school and college students from Kyrgyzstan to share their ideas and showcase their public speaking skills.

The student forum “Discovering Answers Through Questions” blended academic discussion with competitive spirit, becoming a highlight of the spring semester in the English Linguistics program

Roman Valvakov, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor of the “English Linguistics” program at the International University of Central Asia, took part in two major academic events held in Moscow in March and April 2025.

On April 7, 2025, students of the “English Linguistics” program, accompanied by their French language instructor, Mirana Tsoi, took part in a vibrant cultural and educational program organized by the Embassy of France in Kyrgyzstan as part of Francophonie Week

On March 25, 2025, students of the General English-2 course celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a vibrant and interactive event organized by the English Linguistics Program.

At the International University of Central Asia, students from the English Linguistics program engaged in a thought-provoking debate on the topic “Should AI replace human workers?”

The second virtual session of the Virtual Cultural Exchange between STLCC and IUCA took place on February 27, 2025, further strengthening cross-cultural dialogue and academic collaboration. The session featured a virtual tour of STLCC’s campus, a presentation on St. Louis and Missouri, and an interactive quiz on local culture. A highlight of the event was IUCA student Akynov Adil’s recitation of the Manas epic, which introduced STLCC students to Kyrgyz oral traditions and sparked discussions on folklore and cultural heritage.

On February 7, 2025, IUCA welcomed guest speaker Amanat Tobusheva, a proud alumna of our university and an expert in online platforms and interactive teaching.

The first virtual session of the Virtual Cultural Exchange course successfully brought together students from STLCC and IUCA, fostering cross-cultural communication and enhancing English language skills. Led by Professor Daniel Yezbick and Senior Lecturer Leila Serikova, the session set a strong foundation for future collaboration and meaningful discussions.
