When Books Come to Life: IUCA’s “Reading to Children” Contest
A celebration of poetry, storytelling, and a lifelong love of reading
On May 16, IUCA held its annual “Reading to Children” contest — a magical event where literature takes center stage and young voices shine. The event was organized by students of the Pedagogy Department and brought together schoolchildren from across the region.
This year’s theme was the charming tale of “Bibigon”, explored through three heartfelt categories:
Poetry Reading — expressive performances full of emotion
Book of My Childhood — touching essays and personal reflections
Read This Book! — colorful book trailers and creative presentations
The atmosphere was warm, uplifting, and inspiring — a true celebration of imagination, connection, and the timeless joy of reading.
Huge thanks to all participants, guests, organizers, and mentors. We can’t wait to see you next year for another chapter of inspiration!
