On April 11, 2026, the International University of Central Asia hosted an English Language Olympiad organized by the English Linguistics Program.

The event brought together Grade 10–11 students from schools across Kyrgyzstan. The Olympiad aimed to identify talented learners, promote interest in the English language, and support the development of linguistic education.

The program included tasks in Listening, Grammar & Vocabulary, and Reading, allowing participants to demonstrate their overall English proficiency. The tasks were designed in line with international standards and focused on developing analytical thinking, language accuracy, and comprehension of authentic texts.

Participants demonstrated a high level of preparation and successfully completed tasks of varying difficulty.

The winners of the Olympiad were:

🥇 1st place — Arlen Kurmanbekov, Ak-Bata School

🥈 2nd place — Aisuluu Askarova, Ak-Bata School

🥉 3rd place — Arina Nazarenko, School No. 8 named after A. Osmonov

The winners received certificates, memorable prizes, and tuition fee discounts for admission to the English Linguistics Program at IUCA.
