
Study Visit of IUCA Students to the Red Crescent Society of the Kyrgyz Republic
Exploring humanitarian activities, national response mechanisms, and the practical application of International Humanitarian Law

On October 17, 2025, students of IUCA academic programs visited the Red Crescent Society of the Kyrgyz Republic as part of practice-oriented learning.
During the visit, representatives of the organization presented the structure and mandate of the National Society, its key areas of humanitarian activity, and mechanisms of cooperation with state authorities and international partners. Particular attention was given to emergency response, assistance to vulnerable groups, and the dissemination of International Humanitarian Law.
Students were introduced to the practical implementation of humanitarian projects, engaged in professional discussions with experts, and explored opportunities for volunteering and educational initiatives.
The visit contributed to the development of professional competencies, practical skills, and a deeper understanding of the role of National Societies within the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
