School Inspires the City: IUCA Master's Students Unlock Creativity in Orlovka
As part of World Creativity Week, participants of the "Zamanbap Mugalim" program, who are currently pursuing their Master's degree in "Pedagogical Activity in Times of Change" at IUCA, organized a major photo contest at School No. 2 in Orlovka. The initiative, titled "Orlovka in the Spotlight," aimed to inspire children to look at their hometown from a new perspective.
Over 100 students participated in the contest. Their lenses captured a diverse range of moments: from natural landscapes and cozy courtyards to fleeting details of everyday life often unnoticed. Following an online vote, 12 finalists were selected. The winners' works received recognition not only locally but also in the capital, where they were showcased to guests at the Create4 Creative Industries Festival in Bishkek.
The project culminated in an exhibition organized by the Orlovka City Hall. Under the open sky, accompanied by live music, residents were able to see Orlovka through the eyes of its children—sincere and surprisingly multifaceted. https://www.instagram.com/p/DJjsZHSsuiU/?img_index=1
