On December 25, 2025, IUCA hosted a conference dedicated to the results of the teaching practicum for students of the Pedagogy Program. For the program, this event has long been something far greater than a formal wrap-up: it is the moment where the academic year meets the real profession, and classroom knowledge is tested against the lived experience of actual school life.

Students delivered presentations that captured not only their outcomes, but their personal and professional growth — the challenges they encountered in the classroom, the solutions that worked, and the conclusions they reached on their own. The conference format encouraged active discussion: participants asked each other questions, shared observations, and compared experiences from different schools and settings.

The conference addresses several key professional goals at once. Reflection and self-analysis help students understand how their view of teaching has shifted through practice. Public speaking and working with visual data develop competencies that every modern teacher needs. And the chance to genuinely listen to peers offers something that regular coursework can rarely replicate. For many participants, this event becomes the moment they first truly feel like teachers.
