On October 6, 2026, the International University of Central Asia held a meeting between students of the Linguistics. English Language program and the Student Council.

As part of the event, first-year students met representatives of the Student Council and faculty members, learned about the achievements and traditions of the program, and received advice from senior students on organizing their studies and maintaining motivation.

The participants were also introduced to the student initiatives plan for the 2026–2027 academic year and the mentoring program for first-year students. The meeting continued with interactive games and team-building activities, which helped students from different years get to know each other and build connections.

The event concluded with the creation of a time capsule — students wrote down their personal goals and plans for the upcoming academic year. The elected President, Stuart Chen, also took part in the event.
