IUCA Students Win Video Competition on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation
Students of the "Law", "International Relations" and "Linguistics. English" programs at the International University of Central Asia became winners of a video competition held within the framework of the regional conference “Education for Peace and Security”, dedicated to the International Day for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Awareness.

The event took place on March 5, 2026, in Bishkek. The conference and competition were organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross Mission in Kyrgyzstan and the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek.

The competition aimed to raise awareness among young people about issues of disarmament and non-proliferation, develop creative thinking, and encourage students to reflect on the role of education, innovation, and youth initiatives in promoting peace and sustainable development.

Participants created video projects on the topic “Youth and Innovation in Disarmament and Non-Proliferation.” In their works, students presented their perspectives on the role of youth, education, and modern technologies in strengthening peace, security, and international cooperation.

The victory of IUCA students in this competition highlights the high level of their academic preparation, their active civic engagement, and their ability to apply knowledge to address contemporary international and legal challenges.
