Albina Koshmat Kyzy, a student of the International Relations program at the International University of Central Asia (IUCA), participated in the volunteer programme of the World Nomad Games, gaining valuable practical experience at a major international event.

One of Albina’s most responsible assignments was participating in the сопровождении of the President of the People’s Republic of China and his spouse, as well as the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and his spouse. This experience gave her an opportunity to observe how high-level international events are organized and to apply the knowledge and skills she has developed as an International Relations student.

Albina particularly highlighted her work at Kyrchyn, where she was involved in translation, coordination of participants, and communication with international guests and delegations. These responsibilities required attentiveness, a strong sense of responsibility, effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to respond quickly in a dynamic environment.

She also participated in activities related to kok-boru and in the closing ceremony of the World Nomad Games. The international scale of the event provided an opportunity to interact directly with representatives of different countries and gain practical experience in intercultural communication.

“Participating in the World Nomad Games volunteer programme became one of the most memorable and meaningful experiences for me. I had the opportunity to be part of major international events and to apply in practice the knowledge and skills I am gaining as an International Relations student,” Albina Koshmat Kyzy said.

For a future professional in international relations, such experience has particular practical value. Working with international delegations helps develop skills in intercultural communication, translation, coordination, teamwork, and interaction within an international event environment.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a major event, meet people from different countries, and gain practical experience that will certainly be valuable in my future professional career,” Albina shared.

Participation of IUCA students in international events of this scale complements their academic education with practical experience and provides future International Relations professionals with opportunities to develop their competencies in a real international environment.
