From March 26 to 28, 2026, Bishkek hosted the National Festival of Advertising and Public Relations "Zhoogazyn." As part of the festival, an international student research conference titled "Communications for Sustainable Development: Green Economy and Social Responsibility" was held at Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University and Kyrgyz-Turkish University "Manas." The conference brought together more than 70 papers from Master's and Bachelor's students representing 16 universities across Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

The International University of Central Asia was represented by second-year Master's student in the "Pedagogical Activity in Times of Change" program, Toktоbekova Aigerim. She presented a research paper titled "Applying Journalism Methods in Developing Students' Communicative Skills: Through the Study of Environmental Issues and Sustainable Development." The expert panel, comprising representatives from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, awarded Aigerim second place. Her academic supervisor is Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Asekova Zhyldyz Duishebаevna, Head of the Bachelor's Pedagogy Track at IUCA.

Toktоbekova Aigerim is a Jaratman of the "Zamanbap Mugalim" — Teach for Kyrgyzstan program. This achievement at an international conference confirms the research potential and academic level of Jaratman Master's students. The program consistently combines scholarly and practical orientation, enabling students to carry out research projects directly connected to the realities of Kyrgyzstan's schools.
