On February 3, 2026, faculty members of the Pedagogy Program at the International University of Central Asia held an open day with a twist — instead of welcoming prospective students to campus, they went directly to schools across Chuy Region to meet families on their own ground.

At each school, the faculty presented the Bachelor's Program 550700 "Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education," outlining admission requirements and the professional prospects that a career in teaching can offer. The conversations centered on a question that matters to many families today: why teaching is not simply a profession, but one of the most relevant and impactful roles in a rapidly changing world.

The outreach format allowed for something that standard recruitment events rarely achieve — an open, direct dialogue with parents and graduates without the formality of an official university setting. Many families took the opportunity to ask the questions that really matter to them: about real career pathways, about life at IUCA, and about the kind of graduate the Pedagogy Program aims to shape.
