Students of the International Relations program at the International University of Central Asia (IUCA), who study Arabic as a third foreign language, visited the International Kuwait University as part of an academic study visit.

The main objective of the visit was to enhance students’ motivation to learn Arabic through immersion in the university’s academic environment and to expand inter-university academic cooperation.

During the visit, students were introduced to the methodological resources of the Department of Arabic Language, as well as modern teaching approaches and educational materials used in teaching Arabic as a foreign language.

The practical component of the visit included participation in an inter-university practicum focused on developing students’ oral communication and intercultural interaction skills in Arabic.

Such academic visits contribute to the development of language competencies, strengthen intercultural dialogue, and promote academic cooperation between universities.

Currently, negotiations are underway between the two universities regarding the signing of a memorandum of mutual cooperation aimed at developing joint educational and research initiatives.
