On April 25, 2025, Igor Miyasarov, a lecturer at the International University of Central Asia, delivered a presentation at a scientific conference marking the 100th anniversary of Zh. Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University.

The conference brought together scholars from various Kyrgyzstani universities, including Osh State University, Ala-Too International University, K. Karasaev Bishkek State University, and the International University of Kyrgyzstan.

Mr. Miyasarov's presentation, titled “The Historical Novel in Kyrgyz Literature,” sparked considerable interest among students, postgraduates, and fellow researchers, offering a valuable perspective on the evolution of this literary genre in national context.
