On Thursday, November 20, 2025, the International University of Central Asia held its annual English Games 2025, organized by the English Linguistics Department. This year, more than 200 freshmen from various academic programs participated, and for the first time the event took place simultaneously in two buildings — the old and the new campus.

Students moved through a series of interactive language stations dedicated to different aspects of English: Vocabulary Puzzle, Tenses, Songs, Tongue Twisters, Pronunciation, Scrambled Text, Prepositions, and others. Each station was facilitated by instructors and volunteers who created an atmosphere of collaboration, support, and friendly competition.

It is worth noting that a key role in organizing the event was played by the coordinated work of all instructors of the English Linguistics Department, who managed the teams, distributed students across the stations, and oversaw the event as a whole. Thanks to their professionalism and teamwork, the English Games ran dynamically, brightly, and at a high organizational level.

The English Games have already become a tradition that allows freshmen to demonstrate their knowledge, get to know one another, and feel part of IUCA’s growing English-speaking community.

Special congratulations go to the English Games 2025 winners, who successfully completed all tasks. The winners received certificates and small gifts, and their achievements became a bright conclusion to the event — inspiring all participants to strive for new accomplishments in learning English.
