On February 17, 2026, students of the Pedagogy program at the International University of Central Asia attended the seminar "12-Year Education: State Standards and Textbooks," organized by the state institution "Okuu Kitebi" under the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the event, representatives of "Okuu Kitebi" presented the content and methodological features of the new generation of mathematics textbooks for primary school. Special attention was given to practical questions: how to use these materials effectively in the classroom and what pedagogical approaches underpin them.

For students preparing to become primary school teachers, the seminar offered a firsthand look at the materials they will work with in their future classrooms. The event helped deepen their understanding of modern educational standards and prepared them to apply these in their upcoming teaching practice.
