On November 1, 2024, Monica Zhang, a Fulbright Scholar and faculty member of the "English Linguistics" program at IUCA, conducted a workshop for students. Participants learned how to craft winning essays for U.S. government-funded programs and received valuable TOEFL tips.

Aisuluu Zholdoshova, a 2019 graduate of IUCA's English Linguistics Program and Executive Director of the U.S.-CAEF Alumni Association, held an inspiring guest lecture on October 31. She shared valuable insights on leadership, project management, and opportunities in U.S. programs for professional growth.

On October 26, a debate tournament on the theme “Youth and Elections” was held, organized by the Academy of Public Administration with the support of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES Kyrgyzstan).

The English Linguistics Program at the International University of Central Asia hosted a seminar on innovative teaching methods. The event was attended by over 50 participants and focused on interactive and inclusive approaches to teaching English with elements of social-emotional learning (SEL).

This holiday reminds us of the richness of our culture and the importance of our native language.
Students and teachers celebrated this special day together: there were songs in the Kyrgyz language, dances, komuz performances, and presentations from our students.

From July 1 to 28, 35 teachers-jaratmans underwent an intensive program at IUCA within the framework of the project "Zamanbap Mugalim - Teach for Kyrgyzstan". The training took place on the basis of the International University of Central Asia (Tokmok) with the participation of IUCA teachers and invited experts.
