On February 10, 2026, fourth-year students of the Pedagogy Program at the International University of Central Asia (IUCA) presented synopses of their graduation theses. Each student outlined the topic and conceptual framework of their research, with many studies addressing pressing issues in primary education within the context of Kyrgyzstan's transition to a 12-year schooling system.

Research topics included the quality of didactic materials in contemporary primary schools, the use of the case method for bullying prevention, and the impact of parental conflict on the emotional crises experienced by young learners. The breadth and depth of these topics reflect the genuine commitment of future educators to the real challenges facing children and teachers in Kyrgyz schools today.

A defining feature of this year's presentations was the concept map: each student visually mapped the logic of their study — from research problem and hypothesis to methodology and expected outcomes. This format encourages graduates to structure their thinking before the main research phase begins and opens space for meaningful feedback from academic supervisors and peers.
