IUCA Initiates Its First Master's Students
First cohort of MA program officially joins university community

The International University of Central Asia (IUCA) held its traditional student initiation ceremony, which became particularly significant this year. For the first time in the university's history, the ceremony included not only undergraduate students but also the first cohort of master's students in the program "Pedagogical Activity in Times of Change." This milestone event marks a new stage in IUCA's development as a university offering a complete spectrum of higher education from bachelor's to master's degrees.

The ceremony took place in a festive atmosphere and united two formats of participation. First-year students of all programs received their student identification cards and officially became members of the university community. Master's students of the "Zamanbap Mugalim" program, known as Jaratmans, joined the ceremony online directly from their workplaces in rural schools of Chui Oblast, where they have already begun their teaching activities. This format of participation reflects the unique feature of the program that combines academic study with practical work in schools.

The following day, October 5, the master's students received their student identification cards in person during the program's first on-campus class session. The launch of the master's program represents an important milestone in IUCA's development and opens new opportunities for preparing pedagogical leaders capable of transforming education in Kyrgyzstan. The university congratulates all first-year students on beginning their student life and especially welcomes the first cohort of master's students, who will enter history as pioneers of graduate education at IUCA.
