IUCA and Teach for Kyrgyzstan Announce Admissions for "Pedagogical Activity in Times of Change" Master's Program
Program presentation in Bishkek brought together future pedagogical leaders and creative economy experts

On March 5, 2026, a presentation of the second cohort admission for the master's program "Pedagogical Activity in Times of Change" took place in Bishkek. The program is implemented by the International University of Central Asia in partnership with Teach for Kyrgyzstan. The event united representatives of the educational community, business sector, and creative industries to discuss the transformation of school education and preparation of a new generation of teachers.

The central theme of the presentation was the role of schools in preparing creators, innovators, and entrepreneurs of the future. Meeting participants heard inspiring presentations from leading experts of Kyrgyzstan's educational and business communities. Daniyar Amanaliev, business conductor of Ololohaus creative hub and chairman of the Supervisory Board of the "Zamanbap Mugalim" program, shared his vision of creative economy development through education. Dina Ruslan, founder of IT company Codify Kids, presented her experience in developing technological competencies in children. Asel Bektenova, Executive Director of Teach for Kyrgyzstan, spoke about the program's mission and approaches, while Ivan Ninenko, Vice President for Academic Affairs at IUCA, highlighted the academic component of the master's program and its role in preparing pedagogical leaders.

Special value was added to the meeting by presentations from first-year Jaratmans and Malika Umarova, artist and program curator, who shared real cases of transforming educational practice in rural schools. Their experience convincingly demonstrated that education can and should become a space for deep transformation.

Program admissions opened on March 5, 2026. Candidate selection proceeds through multiple stages, including online application submission, assessment of motivation and values, interviews, and a final assessment center to determine readiness for pedagogical leadership. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to combine graduate studies at IUCA with teaching work in rural schools, developing competencies necessary for transforming Kyrgyzstan's education system.
