35 jaratman teachers graduated from the four-week Summer Institute at IUCA.
From July 1 to 28, 35 teachers-jaratmans underwent an intensive program at IUCA within the framework of the project "Zamanbap Mugalim - Teach for Kyrgyzstan". The training took place on the basis of the International University of Central Asia (Tokmok) with the participation of IUCA teachers and invited experts.
During the training, our jaratman easily and with interest in practice mastered new skills: emotional intelligence, critical thinking, stage speech skills, creating interesting and effective lesson programs, understanding the essence of pedagogical ethics, age psychology of schoolchildren, effective communication not only with students, staff and family, but also with the community in which the school is located.
An important component of this training was group discussion - a reflection of what happened during the day. Participants reflected on the training material, evaluated the trainers' teaching methods, and shared insights and emotions. The best methods and practices were adopted. Also in the process of discussion, the Jaratmans reflected on their professional path, assessed their strengths and growth areas.
As part of this program, teachers organized a summer camp for schoolchildren in Orlovka. For 10 days they practiced creating a welcoming, fun and educational environment for the children. Children attended not only various clubs, but also with pleasure went to classes in Russian, English, math, computer science and geography. Classes were held in a playful form and pupils were happy to come to school in the summer time.
Already this fall, the teachers - zharatmans will go to public schools in the Chui region, where they will work for two years within the framework of the project "Zamanbap Mugalim - Teach for Kyrgyzstan".
