Introducing IUCA

 

 Planning for the International University of Central Asia began in the fall of 2007. It was first opened in August 2008 as the Professional Institute Yraiyim, but in its second year of operation attained university status and became IUCA.


The University now has seven programs of study: Business Administration, English Linguistics, International Relations, Chinese and East Asian Studies, Information Technology, Economics and Education (Pedagogy). And Center for Central Asian Languages teaches to visiting scholars and students Kyrgyz, Russian, Uzbek and Kazakh languages. All programs are licensed by the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education, which is the equivalent of accreditation under the Kyrgyz system.
