IUCA was founded in 2008 as the Professional Institute “Yraiyim”. The University is based on the American style of Higher Education. IUCA gives the Bachelor’s degree in following fields, Linguistics (English), Chinese Studies, Business Management, International Relations, Information Technologies. 

This American-style University in Tokmok meets all academic and ethical standards. The programs of Study give a real opportunity to rural and other students to get the best quality of education and to have a successful career. There are all necessary facilities for study and learning at the University: comfortable classrooms, well equipped labs with modern technology, a modern library with an up-to-date data base of its holdings and with Internet access, a cafeteria and a comfortable dormitory. IUCA has a scholarship plan as well as a work-study program to help to students from needy families. The University is ready to help students with their future employment.

In near future, Tokmok will be designated as a University town by the Mayor of Tokmok

At this moment about 200 Students study at the University.

The International University of Central Asia, according its founders’ intention will play an important role in educating a new generation of leaders and professionals who will influence a the future of Kyrgysztan and of Central Asia.

Introducing IUCA

 

 Planning for the International University of Central Asia began in the fall of 2007. It was first opened in August 2008 as the Professional Institute Yraiyim, but in its second year of operation attained university status and became IUCA.


The University now has seven programs of study: Business Administration, English Linguistics, International Relations, Chinese and East Asian Studies, Information Technology, Economics and Education (Pedagogy). And Center for Central Asian Languages teaches to visiting scholars and students Kyrgyz, Russian, Uzbek and Kazakh languages. All programs are licensed by the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education, which is the equivalent of accreditation under the Kyrgyz system.
