Admissions

Admission to IUCA

Admission to the IUCA is open to students of all nations, races, nationalities and religions. We judge applicants only on their ability and on their willingness to work hard and to learn. For those who lack material resources, financial aid is available.

Entrance Requirments

Applicants must show documents that prove graduation from a high-school level program. These may include an ‘attestat’ from a CIS secondary school, a diploma from schools abroad, a graduation attestat from a CIS vocational ‘kolej’, a United States GED certificate or similar document. IUCA will also accept official transcripts from other institutions of higher learning (VUZy) that require high school graduation as a condition of admission. Applicants from countries other than Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus and Tajikistan must submit their high school or university documents in a notarized Russian translation for submission to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education for confirmation.

Entrance examinations will consist of two parts, a general test of English for all applicants and a special examination administered by the program that the student wishes to attend. Scores for standardized tests for English (TOEFL, IELTS) or the entrance examinations of institutions known to the Institute (AUCA, KIMEP in Kazakhstan) may be submitted also. The programs may also establish scores on other standardized tests (SAT, Kyrgyzstan National Test) that are sufficient for admission to IUCA programs.

Entrance examinations will be administered by written examination at the IUCA campus in Tokmok on days set aside for this purpose. Examinations may also be given by mobile teams in other locations. Notice of times and places of all IUCA entrance examinations will be given on the IUCA (this) website at www.iuca.kg. Those unable to attend these examinations, should fill out the online application and submit evidence of high school graduation and standardized test scores by fax (996 (3138) 6 29 91) or as an scanned attachment to an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. We will also consider admission to institutions known to us (e.g. AUCA, KIMEP, institutions in the US, Canada, Western Europe, Australia, IIT) as evidence of qualification to IUCA. Submit a copy of the letter of admission to one of those institutions for consideration.

Candidates should also submit:
