Education: Technology Training for Preschool Education

IUCA is introducing a new program in pedagogy. It is the only one of its kind in Kyrgyzstan. Its main emphasis is technology training for preschool education. The graduates will hold the Bachelor of Pedagogy and will be able to:

- determine educational and research objectives;

- Design the content of preschool education.
- Participate in the activities of various professional associations

The main idea is to promote the harmonious development of the personality, and its socialization, and thus help the children realize themselves and to make a contribution to society.

Why should we pay special attention to early childhood education today? It is obvious that how a child develops at an early age determines its future and influences the future of the country. At the same time, only 11% of children in Kyrgyzstan have access to preschool education. One reason for this low rate is the lack of properly trained teachers. Studies have shown that first graders who did not attend kindergarten have grades that are on average 24% lower than those of children who have received appropriate preschool education. Investments in education today are aimed primarily at the pre-school sector. Today, specialy in the field of preschool education is a profession that is in great demand.

What goals should the student in this program have?
- Desire to be a teacher;
- Desire to understand the needs of this profession;
- Cooperation with teachers and with fellow students.

Where can a graduate of Education Program work?
- In a Pre-school educational organization.
- At Teacher Training Colleges.

Let us remember that investments in early childhood development lead to school success, and this in turn increases the potential of young people as future participants in the economic and socio-political life of the country. This can be your contribution to its future and the future of their country. Let us learn to teach others!
